About the Role
This award winning branding and interior design studio are looking for an FF&E / Procurement Co-ordinator to join their friendly team.
This hire needs to be meticulously organised and experienced in a similar role. You will be working on their interiors and branding team and will be the key point of contact for all FF&E research, logistics and specification. Your main role will be keeping all FF&E activities across the studio running problem free, this includes the project finance and admin side of the studio. You will need to be a friendly and likable character as you will be a key face in the studio and will work alongside the Design team, Creative Directors and the Finance team.
Previous experience is key and you will need to be able to demonstrate FF&E sourcing, specifying and co-ordination skills. Your previous experience will be in a client and Director facing role ideally in a creative design company.
Key responsibilities:
Leading the co-ordination, final specification and procurement of FF&E
Liaising with all the relevant teams among the studio, which includes working closely with the creative and technical interior designers.
Supplier relationship management. Including negotiating the best deals, sourcing new suppliers, maintaining previous trade relationships and following through with Pro Forma invoice purchase details.
Compiling product and pricing proposals for both team and clients.
Organising the delivery to site, including creating and checking and customs/import/export procedures. As well as dealing with storage/install companies and suppliers.
Providing regular updates to the Design team and dealing with any delays.
Estimating and managing project budgets.
Ensuring to consider ways to recycle FF&E and eco-conscious practices.
To be considered for this role you will need:
To be highly motivated, driven, proactive and exceptionally organised in your time management and prioritisation skills.
Previous experience in a similr role, ideally with at least 3 years experience working in an FF&E/Procurement focused role.
Staying on top of tasks and to-do lists.
An eye for detail and ability to check and double check!
Fantastic communication will all relevant parties.
The ability to thrive when busy and stay cool under pressure.
Fluent in written and spoken English
Interest in design and the creative industries
Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe seamlessly.
This role is in their NW studio with the option to work one day from home if full time, however they are open to part-time and flexi-time candidates also. Salary will be based on experience but likely in the region of £28,000 to £35,000.
