The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects and to be a key player in delivering high-quality designs. The successful candidate will be client-facing, leading a small team of Architectural Technicians and Architectural Assistants, ensuring seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the design and development of projects from concept to completion.
- Lead a team of Architectural Technicians and Assistants, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and present design proposals.
- Utilise Revit and AutoCAD for the creation of detailed architectural drawings and plans.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant building regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- A degree in Architecture and membership with a recognised architectural body.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with a focus on housing, extra care, and tourism projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a small team effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients.
- Willingness to relocate to West Devon, if not currently residing within the region.
What Is On Offer
- A competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000, based on experience and qualifications.
