About the Role
REMOTE HIRE - ARCH TECHNICIAN / TECHNOLOGIST - REVIT
An exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technician or Technologist to work remotely on interesting commissions incorporating low carbon solutions coupled with MMC and off-site technologies.
You will be joining an award winning design and engineering company with an integrated and collaborative approach to architecture, interiors, engineering, manufacturing and construction. They have a specific focus in low carbon design solutions and the incorporation of MMC into large building projects globally.
They provide design-led solutions that are cost effective and suited to their cultural context whilst creating something new and exciting.
They have carried out a number of new build and retrofit Passivhaus and low energy build projects, aiding our clients from inception to certification and have certified over 20% of all Passivhaus buildings to date that have been built in the UK.
The team are almost exclusively working from their homes which has continued to be a successful method for them. Their project work is spread widely across the UK, primarily in the South and Midlands and incorporates residential developments of varying scales along with hospitality and more.
The Requirement:
- Creating high quality Architectural detailing and working drawings.
- Use of Revit on a daily basis.
- Experience on larger scale projects, ideally within the residential sector.
- Either a background working on sustainable driven projects or if not, a true interest to do so.
- You will be expected to work independently, although under direction, and with the support of the Team Manager whilst continually collaborating with other colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills are required, in both written and spoken English
This is a full time permanent with salary dependent on your experience but likely in the range of £35,000 - £40,000.
