Architect and Arch Technician - Northamptonshire
Join a small, rapidly growing practice in a scenic rural location. Our client specialises in both commercial and residential projects and is known for its collaborative approach and strong client relationships.
This is an appealing role for an individual who enjoys smaller environments where you are truly valued and also have the opportunity to grow with a practice.
Responsibilities
• Manage projects from conception to completion (all RIBA stages).
• Interpret and integrate client requirements into project concepts.
• Conduct site visits and ensure design feasibility.
• Produce high-quality, detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with planning policies and building regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
Qualifications & Experience
• Architect: ARB registered with a minimum of 2 years' experience, or Part 2 qualified with several years' experience
• Architectural Technician: Accredited qualification with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience (CIAT registered ideally)
• Strong portfolio showcasing UK based work.
• Full UK Driving License
Skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and similar programs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Proactive mindset with problem-solving skills.

This is a permanent hire with a salary guideline between £32,000 - £40,000 depending on your previous experience. The role is based from their office in Northamptonshire but they will offer flexible hours within reason.
